What is CIC Finance's market positioning?

CIC Finance has a long history in equity activities and has developed specialised teams and structures operating in all market segments, from growth capital to LBO arrangements, venture capital operations, M&A advisory services and corporate finance. CIC Finance has 1.3 billion euros in assets under management managed by a team of 40 experts.

What role does CIC Finance play?

In our high value-creation activities, CIC Finance benefits from the backing of our parent company, Crédit Mutuel - CIC, France's fourth-largest banking group. Through this commitment, we are able to combine major financial resources, the support of a network, access to a corporate client base and the professional skills of highly qualified teams. Moreover, CIC Finance does not limit its interventions to equity investments and advisory services. Our teams are in for the long haul by building partnerships through which we can optimise the operations that we engineer and finance.

How does CIC Finance plan to develop in the future?

The investment banking business is evolving rapidly in an environment of increasingly global economies. As a result, we are expanding our interventions and investments internationally. In the long run, investments outside of France will account for about 20% of our total portfolio. CIC Finance also plans to expand the development of third-party fund management, in addition to current investment funds (FCPI innovation funds, FIP local investment funds and majority LBOs), with a target of 50% of assets under management. On the whole, after the recent strengthening of our regional and Paris-based teams, CIC Finance is poised to play a greater role in corporate growth and financing in the years ahead, in both France and internationally.
